Okee, lads,

please explain it to a total nOOb as I am - what is that interesting in (jeez, i wanna be politically correct and not offend noone on both sides ot the Atlantic Paddle) the game in which 22 lads keep running after a ball and kick it with their feet?

I feel I am a nOOb as i do not see any strategy here, nor fun - it is just sweat, blood, suffering, broken seats at the stadiums, police forces fighting the peaceful groups of ****ball fans.

But I really gotta start using that 'preview' button... note to self: must actually think about what I write in future BEFORE I submit it. I need an editor. Am far too prone to hindsight. And coffee... hmmm yeah, I'm beginning to make the association between hasty, irrational thinking and way too much coffee. It's the coffee! It MUST be the coffee!

And on the subject of women's football... well, you know the way in men's football, the referee has to book a player for removing his shirt while celebrating a goal? Perhaps in women's football the player's team should receive bonus points if the player removes her shirt? Just a thought...
