Hmmmm...
Remember the overheating problems I had? Well I uninstalled the ATI drivers and re-installed them and now no beeps from the CPU. However, the temperature still reads around 97 degrees Celsius. Can someone explain what the heck's going on?

Maybe some of that hair that fell off of your head got sucked up into the case?

The graphics card´s GPU fan is working at full speed?:FI:AltarBoy wrote:Remember the overheating problems I had? etc! Are you overclocking with this?:FI:AltarBoy wrote:I'm using an app called ATI Tool .
Problems were possibly connected to your VPU recover settings in CCC.

75c sound too high for not playing games.
My card sits at around 45c when not running IL2 and reaches around 60c when running IL2.
My guess is you've got cooling problems but I don't know much about computers.
Try running with the side off your case and see if its any cooler.

Right now the Card's temp is 66 degrees Celsius. It's the Dry Season here and it is very hot. I removed the CPU fan and cleaned it out. The thermal paste needs re-applying. I did remove the side panel of the case. Like I said before I re-installed the latest ATI driver and that seemed to stabilize the temp so far. I'm thinking of buying another 88mm fan and attaching it close to the card. I can now play games without getting beeps and system shut down.

All the temps mentioned so far sound very very high IMO. I think you have some airflow issues. Wanna post a picture of your case with the side off so we can have a look?
For me general rule of thumb on air cooling:
CPU<55C
GPU<75C
I have been using watercooling for this reason for years. For water:
CPU<45C
GPU<50C
