Are We Ready for a REAL Grand Campaign?
Thinking about starting in the near future a true Grand Campaign experience in Friday's Historic Encounters. What are you talking about Tact? How about flying from the beginning of the war until the end?
At this point not sure what theatre - Eastern, Western or Pacific - and yet to fully figure this all out, but basically my initial thought is that we start a session for say 5 missions. During the session or at the beginning of the next the campaign would automatically advance to the next scenario, and then after 5 missions onto the next, and so forth as DCG can link its individual campaigns into such Grand ones. If there are a lot of campaigns to link maybe only @3 missions per scenario. I would establish basic parameters (tweaking a little along the way). A variety of planes/situations would be thrown our way.
So are you interested in such an adventure after Normandy 1941? BTW we would probably focus on this for a number of sessions. Given the variety I wouldn't likely offer missions from any other campaigns - I think.

Way to go TacticalS!
Was good to see the turnout last week , in spite of a few problems with comms and readying up.
Think the idea for the Weds session a good one too, it would be good if other s could fly similar 4 man coops too. Think that would help wingman and flight tactics, then could all come together Saturdays for the big one.
Maybe youd even continue - Berlin air lift - Korea - Suez scenarios with 4.07 on the horizon?
