Going flying soon!

It was my 17th Birthday tmw and my parents knowing how obsessive I am about flight and old palnes etc etc got me a flight in a Tiger Moth as a present! :D Hoping to book it for sometime in the summer when the weather is better but I cant wait to get my exams out of the way and get up!

I think its only for an hour or so but I think it'll be a great experience!Open cockpit...the wind in my face , scarf flapping behind me as I pretend to be a "knight of the sky" ;)

I'll be sure to let you know how it goes chaps

Just don't do what Heloego did at Duxford last year...

He went up in a Tiger Moth, flew a circuit or two, landed, and farted just before leaving the aircraft. Next thing you know - the thing's on fire!

I'm sure there are pictures of this near disaster but I just tried searching back through posts from around that time and I can't find links to any of the photo albums that were up. Anyone got 'em? We need to find evidence that Helo was not responsible for this incendiary incident :badgrin:

Anyways happy birthday Skip (it was mine on the 11th :) ) and enjoy that flight in the Tiger Moth, mate ^:)

Jealousy prevails here, really want to go flying. Might do something similar for my 37th birthday, but in a Stearman trainer [-o<...definitely get some picks.

I got a 30 minute flight a T-6 Texan for my birthday a few years back, it was an incredible experience.

That's what I get for smoking after pizza! ;)

The fart totally missed the TMoth and sailed into a Dragonfly. All the passengers were gagging. (They sure exited the plane ia a hurry. ) :lol:
...and wear your feckin' mask!!!!! :x
