Help installing patch 404

Hi! I'm running v403(m) right now and have 404, both merged and standalone on my desktop. Where exactly do I route this patch to? I seem to be too stuuped to figure this out..Please help M8tes. ~S~

C:\Program Files\IL-2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles

Just in case your IL-" merged version is installed there ...

...install the 4.04m patch. Otherwise you won't connect with any of us.

Patch should definitely be installed in your Forgotten Battles folder.

Ie: C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Il2 Forgotten Battles

When you start FB it should show "V4.04m"

Had a problem patchimg my new merged install up to 4.04m
(see Nearly there in Off Topics)
Decided to try the "conf.ini" from the standalone PF,
so backup the PF FB AEP conf.ini -
copy /paste the standalone -
start game -
check video options - bingo set to perfect already
Load QMB and fly mission.
big victory roll

hell of a lot quicker than trawling through
the merged version.

Can compare now to see whats missing
