Some pics of the last reenacting event my son and I went to.
This was taken the second day of the event, we were all pretty tired and dirty!
Group shot. My son is second from left bottow row. I am third from right bottom row.
Me and an MG-42. Us GI's were so happy this thing wasn't working that weekend!
Me with Kar 43. This gun and the German reenactor who fought with it were brutal. It was definitely a force multiplier for our German squad who were mostly equipped with Kar 98 bolt actions.
Ah yes.......

"He who warned, uh, the British that they weren't gonna be takin' away our arms, uh, by ringing those bells, and um, makin' sure as he's riding his horse through town to send those warning shots and bells that we were going to be sure and we were going to be free, and we were going to be armed."
