Battle of the Admin Box 1944
I was reading about this and thought about doing a Sunday campaign - then I found a single player campaign that someone had already done on Mission4Today website!
I will rewrite for multiplayer in HSFX 5.0.1. Map used is Lower Burma - pretty good map.
We will fly red in Spitfire Vc's against AI Japanese (mostly Ki43's). There are quite a lot of AI blue aircraft in some of the missions so will have to see how these work online. Campaign has a total of 12 missions. Smallest number of Spits in a mission is 8 - should be enough most Sundays - and most have 12 or more.
Should have at least 3 ready for this weekend.

Neil, ole bean!
Sounds promising to me, m8. Will we be able to fly the Ki-43s as well? I assume that Pike is still willing to kill me virtually so I'd like to give him a chance ...
BTW, I´ve also downloaded some COOP missions from missions4today due to the lack of new ones. They've been edited by me (weather and date wise) so keep on looking forward flying some extended sorties on the Slot map during the years 1943 and 1944, folks!

I should be on for next Sunday. Both scenarios sound promising.

Missions were originally for single player red - no brief written for blue and mostly air starts for them so a lot more work to do to make it flyable for both sides. Sorry but I don't think I have enough time to do that at the moment:FI:Genosse wrote: Will we be able to fly the Ki-43s as well? And starve presumably........................:FI:Armitage wrote:use your lunch time!
By the way, there are now 4 done for Sunday if we need them - all red only
I have got some nice SEA skins which came with the original offline campaign pack, if anyone wants a blank for Sunday I am happy to send via email, or you can download with the campaign yourself from the M4T website.
In later missions there will be a chance to fly C47's and airdrop supplies into the beseiged area - I tried it out and it looks pretty cool. Need to maintan a bit of height, say 500ft or so, otherwise the cargo chutes don't have time to open.

Folks!
As you may or may not know the next Sunday (May 15th, 2011) there'll be my son's confirmation and some guests will come over to our place. Depending on the level of alcohol and the depature of the last guest I might join you all a bit later. So you'll better look out for a new host then (just in case I won't be there right in time).
Prost!
