Sunday coop game version part 2
Seems to be a debate about what we should be using for squad sessions - so here's a thread and poll to air your views.
When we ran a similar poll several weeks ago the majority (of those who could be bothered to express a view) was in favour of sticking with modded 4.09 - HSFX or UP - rather than move to unmodded 4.10.1.
The modders have been getting their acts together and we now have HSFX 5.0.1 for 4.10.1 out and stable, with hopefully a new version of UP (Ultrapack) out later in April. So what do we think?

Confused!
I have HSFX 5.0.1 for 4.10.1 plus vanilla stuff. I don't have Ultra Pack, but I do have three cats.

I'll see your three cats and such and raise you four copies of the game in various formats (HSFX 4.1, HSFX 5,011, 410.1, ULTRAPACK) Three cats, Two Dogs and two Guinea Pigs:FI:Gurberly wrote:Confused!

5.0.1 works on Friday so far over here. One very big dog.

I have a little hamster! Aaaw how cute he is
BUT REGARDING THE GAME: I have HSFX 5.01 up and running but am fine with waiting for the (hopefully) combinded UP+HSFX release based on 4.10.1m.
So I voted "Move to modded 4.10 (HSFX + UP when it comes out)"
like everyone else, yet, except the beer guy

Two gerbils, a hamster that bites (a lot) and a goldfish called Bob.
I've got HSFX 5.1 so can do that or patched 4.10.

Whens 4.11 due out?
4.9.4.10.1 +HSFX 4.2.5.1.1
gotta say stock 4.10.1 seems best bet till all the dust settles.

Goldfish Bob deserves more respect. The Gerbils are point whores.

Written a couple of missions for Sunday - both in HSFX 5.01 + gerbil - we can use them if we need them
Mission 1 1943 using 352nd Channel Map - P51 bomber escorts v 190's
Mission 2 1944 using Normandy map - German army counterattacking to cut off allied breakouts from Normandy beachhead. Typhoons and Spits for red, small numbers of 190's for blue (blue will have a lot of targets to aim at)

Re: Sunday coop game version part 2
Guy's what is the point in running a poll, that give's a result , Being that we wait to host HSFX 5 when UP has it, And we still go ahead a organize a night which flys in the face of the result. .START RANT I dont get it,Can we make a proper decision on this .We have w WW1 sim that nobody seems to want to fly now ,a new il2 game that is barely playable, and the one game that is,there's that many variations of it,its pot luck if you have the version that being used that night,Greg that voice in the wilderness were are ye i reckon i will stick to Arma and Totalwar for a while until things settle down maybe UP 45 and HSFX 16.7 or something END RANT
