My New Gig; WW2 Reenacting
Hey guys, got some pics of my first official WW2 reenacting event that my son and I took part in last weekend (yes, another expensive hobby...gads!). 3 days of no sleep, crappy food, assualting German positions uphill, and getting up at 6 am, man what a blast! Unfortunately I was unable to capture any of the actual fighting...way too busy keeping my head down or engaging targets, but I plan to rig up some sort of battle cam the next time I go out. I did put together a mini-movie interview of some of the guys in the American unit.

No son, you're staying out the whole three days
or I'll shoot the other leg.

Cool stuff Mike! I was a civilian member of an ROTC Aggressor Squad for a while in college. Lots of fun ... if you could get the thirty-year-old tri-oxyene tablets lit in your wing stove.
Mmmm-mmm, meat hash de 1946.
~~~
Okay Zee, they're pretty ...
but can they fight?
A few miles north of Rice, Washington. A good friend of mine owns 350 acres of which he very generously allowed us the use of 40 for the weekend. MORE than enough terrain. Working on some additional footage that has a bunch of the German unit included. Stay tuned.:FI:Airway wrote:Oh, nice area.
Where did that reenacting event take place?
