Troubles with HSFX mods ...
Today I tried to join a DF server that only had the HSFX history mod enabled. When I changed my JSGME to show only the HSFX history mod I would start the game. It would only go to 5% and the the game would ... end.
I added a few more mods that I usually use and all went well. Other members had only the HSFX history mod enabled and they didn't have this problem.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Falcon

How many tries?
Timeout or lost connection with server can put you back in HL
Could it be the order mods are added/removed from JSGME?
Try removing all mods then add HSFX ? Possibly some files common to the other mods were taken away.
One thought on general use of JSGME -
You can save and load profiles of mods used by clicking "Tasks" in center panel.
Would be useful for folk to save what works for different servers, squad sessions etc.

Thanks Sneaky,

Every time, I tried to start the game around six times.:FI:Sneaky_Russian wrote:How many tries?
No time out, no lost connection; it occured each time I tried to start the game, whether on or off line. The game made it to 5% and then ... just ... vanished.Timeout or lost connection with server can put you back in HL
The one and only mod was the HSFX history mod. It was alone, it was first and last, the alpha and the omega, bereft of company. All other mods had left and gone in toto to the left side of the JSGME. They did so begrudgingly both separately and collectively over three attempts.Could it be the order mods are added/removed from JSGME?

Cool, thanks again SneeOne thought on general use of JSGME -
