Well a day later than I planned ;) I finally have it installed and working.

So far I am very impressed =D] Apart from the pretty(if not some what gay looking) graphics it is running very sweetly indeed.

All of my device drivers were detected and installed at startup and I have track IR working no problems.

Now that my machine can read and use all of it's 4gig of memory it seems to be alot smoother when running.

I also installed AVG Free antivirus which ultimate likes and recognises properly and all of my games are running a treat.

Overall compared to vista it's smoother, cleaner and a hell of a lot more stable.

I have since found out that Hyperlobby will not install at all so it means if anyone is hosting on there I will need the direct IP :(

hyperlobby is a 32bit app.

There may be a way to force the install. Have you checked support.microsoft.com ?

Sussed it out :D :D :D

In Hyperlobby find the hlpro.exe file and right click into properties and set the compatability with win 98. Then go to IL2EB.EXE in the game folder and make it compatable with win XP.

Once done hyperlobby opens without any error messages and allows connection to the IL2.EXE file.
