Weather in sunny Cyprus a little cooler today - only 88 degrees, but its only 10.30am

Not quite up to Texas standards but hot enough for me.

I have IL2 on my laptop and have been looking at some of the new modded maps. Think I might retry these Italy missions on the new Mediterranean map while I am away.

Due to a shortage of paricipating members i wont effect anyones stats because of last night i may even tweak the missions and get you guys to fly them again (if its worth it) but i want to be there whan they are flows so i will get some BoB coops done for you guys for next week then we can resume regular service. anyone particuly want/dont want to fly any misssions again?

Thanks for the handy links and the uber missions today Frank. I kinna had a hard time installing object AND map files last time and I was relieved, in a selfish way, that others did too. Could you show us exactly where these guys go?

Alright, Stu!

I want to give that a try ... let´s start with the map first. Okay, extract the folders _Tex and vkg_El_Alamein of the vkg_El_Alamein_v1.3.zip into your \MODS\MAPMODS\Maps\ folder. To finalize it just add the line vkg_El_Alamein_BP vkg_El_Alamein/load_blank_plate.ini into the all.ini file that you´ll find in the \MODS\MAPMODS\Maps\, too. This ensures you to find the map in the Full Mission Builder (if you like to work with/on it of course).

Now we get to the Egyptian objects.Extract the Mod DLV_Egypt folder out of the Mod DLV_Egypt.zip right into your general \Mods folder. Then you need to open up the Add_to_static_ini.txt file with notepad and copy/paste its content at the end of your static.ini file that´s located in \MODS\STD\com\maddox\il2\objects. Be advised to add this content in front of those lines ...
