I got my copy of
Mise ̉ۡire today.
It was a bit hard to understand because it was narrated in Irish gaelic (Gaeilge) language only (I extra turned english lame subtitles off), but there they spoke about Constance Markiewicz.
She was born in London but the name sounds so Polish you might think.
That's because she got the name from her husband Kazimierz Dunin-Markiewicz, a Ukrainian aristocrat of Polish ethnicity.
Sad that some of the actual polish emigrants in Ireland seem to have forgotten that.
Send them home, take me instead.
