Me too but how much delay is upstream from your router /modem compared to any boost this may give ?

true, but I don't think Windows helps the matter. This should bypass any need for windows to intervene, free up some latency, use less processing and reduce lag.
I think this would actually help a lot and would like to get one for my wee server! Just not sure about spending 200 quid on a network card
