Aileron issues

Post by :FI:WillieOFS » Wed Dec 10, 2008 1:23 am

Game worked fine yesterday. Move stick to the left, left wing drops, right wing raises. Today, fire it up after work, hit Hyperlobbly, drop in and out of two servers and never even bother to fly because of REALLY strange planesets.

Decide to fly some QMB stuff. Now when I move stick to the left, the left wing RAISES and the right wing drops! Checked the input settings, all good. Stick goes left, little indicator goes left. Re-start comp. Still backwards....

Anybody have any ideas? Seems I had a similar problem a few years back but have slept and drank lots of tequila since then.

No joy. :(

I've got two other versions of the game on my HD. Any idea what file control these functions?

Thinkin maybe I can paste a non-screwed version over the screwed one. Save a new install. The one that is messed up is the one with ALL the mods and the switcher. :(

FIXED!! Without a new install!! #-o

Opened the file Sneak mentioned. Compared it line by line to the same file from a version that wasn't backwards. Couldn't find any differences..

Copied the whole USER folder from a good version and pasted it over the messed up version.. My plane now goes left when I move the stick left.

Have no idea why it went nuts but glad it was able to be fixed that easily.

Thanks Sneak.

I think the 5th anniversary is either wood, silverware or flight sims.

Take yer pick Sam.
