My name's Tim Crawford, I'm 19 years old and very interested in joining this squadron.
I used to play dabs of IL2 now and again but got distracted for 8 months or so, and my already quite mediocre skills have since vanished into dust but I'm starting to get better again.

Hello Revelation!
We here at the Fighting Irish welcome all to come and fly with us , first things first get Hyperlobby, and Team Speak, if you don't already. The Fighting Irish fly IL2 1946 4.08m and lately we have been playing with the 4.09b1m beta patch version with mods. You will find us on Hyperlobby with the =FI= prefix, as well we fly Friday nights 7:30pm EST and Sundays at 2:00pm EST and the European members get together Wednesday's as well I believe (not sure when but I know I'm still at work when they do). But my timings could be a little off, I'm sure someone will sort me out on these.
Any questions or problems post them here and there are enough guys here who will be more than happy to help you out getting set up.

Also I tried figuring out the difference between my local time and EST but the time zone thing on your website seems to be a bit off...hehe.

Feel free to join our TS server, introduce yourself to the chaps there and I bet they take you under their wings.
Time zone difference is a bit confusing, for me too, but hey we managed other things, so that might be the smallest problem.
I fly mostely on sundays Coop missions but a lot of other guy are there all over the week.
Check in and up it goes.

Now that you're registered, stop by AAA and get all the mods so you can join the Sunday sessions. Just make sure you copy a "clean" install (4.08m) to a different folder before you modify. That way you at least have a clean version if the mod install gets mussed up.
Friday nights are Historic Encounters nights ( 8:00pm Central ) and we're always looking for more participants. Current campaign is the Crimea. We fly 4.08m (unmodded) full real, except for heading, so be prepared. Once you connect w/TS, we can help you connect to game via IP addie or you can connect to the na Kane Pono server via Hyperlobby.
