Any reviews on ...

...Flight Simulator X - Professional Edition?

Can anyone tell me more about this flight sim? What specs does my rig need to have to run this piece of MS (masochistic-sadistic)? How close does it come to reality? Are there any further costs I need to consider after I bought the software?

Would you recommend me to buy it? :?:

Ty for your attention, folks! :) ^:)

AMD 3200 @2.2 ghz
2gb Ram
ATIx1600 512

....but then thats just the demo.

All the graphics have had a buff, but its still MSFS

Thank you for the hint with the demo ... I downloaded, installed and fire it up ... and I really enjoyed the frame rate drop while flying it. Well, it was just a matter of interest since I saw a very juicy P-38 video by GOZR performing on FS 10 ...

Great Addons !

FSX itself runs fine on my machine with SP2 installed.

I have it as well as the acceleration pack- I seldom use it but it does include a LOT of instructional and other fun mission content.
Helicopters are fun. If you're interested in seeing how complicated flying a real plane can get, this will float your boat.
A lot of the better add-ons seem to be payware, but there are lots of pretty good scenery packs that are free, they just take up a lot of HD space.
