joining the RAF in a few months i applied a few days ago so now its just getting though all the fitness and tests to get in lol. i got the qualifications so there letting me do what i want as long as i do the tests n fitness so im working my ass off to get though it all lol.

If you only applied a few days ago then you've got quite a long slog to go before actually getting in.

Good luck though mate. I'm still trying to get my 2.4km run time down below the PJFT standards.

13:15 is my best so far. Bear in mind it's through dry rivers and up hills. So I think if I did it on a treadmill I'd come in under time. I looked for somewhere flat to do the run but there's just nowhere around here. I suppose I could go to a gym but it would take me longer to drive into town to go on a treadmill than it takes me to run around.

Anyway, best of luck mate.

im off in as a aircraft tech, i already no about the job and the training involved coz my cousin was in the RAF and did the same job just the electronic side where as im doing the engines and air frames lol.
