#I have downloaded and installed... works great, but how do I back it up so that i don't have to pay/download it again?
do I just have to make a copy of the entire Steam directory?
How do I reinstall it if I get a complete crash type thingy?

back up!
hi,
I don't think you need to back it up, when you bought the game they registered you as a user en legal buyer.
so next time you need to reinstall it you just log in and download it again.
i think, just as with battle field 2 armored fury and euro forces.
cheerio.

Of course you would find the download in some sort of cache/temp folder that you could backup. When I downloaded some addons for Battlefield 2 via online I also backed up these files for safekeeping. Might be useful if you ever reformat mate.:FI:Gurberly wrote:Thanks
I just did not want to go through the agro of downloading it again. 2gb does take a bit of time. Hestiate to think what would happen if I had half a dozen games.

Hi Gurberly
Good to have you back here Gurb,
If you have the download version Steam takes care of your updateas and account.
But iF you have the disk version you'll have to be sure that once you installed the game, you get your disk out of da drive, because after start up it will install again and then the steam interface reconise a out of da box version and starts update is again and again and again. This is not what you want,
ater installing your set and done to play the game and steam will check everytime when you start up the game if you are up to date thats it
Well welcome to the Ostfront ..
Dutch..,
