Hmmmm... Strangely, i have been very satisfied with my Vista.. Sure, there are things in it i dont like, but so does XP.. Vista felt weird to use at first, but i got used to it, i dont want to go back to XP..
My 20 cents..

That's pretty funny.
I am still using XP at home and work. Actually I feel comfortable with this OS. Messed around with its Registry for quite some time.
I am looking forward to Vista, but not until a good Service Pack is released. I thought SP1 has been delayed for release in Q1 2008? I know they (especially computer manufacturers) were hoping for this Christmas.
Lots of forums seem to suggest that DX10 can be problematic for existing games. At the very least there is a lost in performance as compared to XP.
Eventually I'm sure Vista will be a very good platform. This time last year I had anticipated that SP1 would be out for Christmas. This will hurt the PC industry. Last year the sales were poor due to its delay, and now that folks have troubles with Vista for gaming, I can't imagine too many jumping in with new rigs. Time will tell.
