Underclocking

Post by AltarBoy » Mon Sep 17, 2007 1:51 pm

Since my GPU was overheating I decided to underclock and it worked a bit, reducing the temperature by as much as 50%. At least now I can run 1946 and some other games now. To underclock you'll need something called ATI Tool if you have an ATI card. On another note I switched OpenGL to DirectX and 1946 looks so much better. 8)

Sounds like the settings I used to have on my old 9200 radeon. Seems so long ago I'd forgotten my dabbling with the ATI tool (sorry).
