Goat Island for sale
There's a sliver of an island off the coast of our sister isle, Tobago going for 20 million dollars. It was once owned by Ian Flemming author of the James Bond books. Some say he was inspired by the island when he took up bird watching on research on our Bird of Paradise and bought a book called Birds of The West Indies by an author named Terrence James Bond. Anyway the island has a large house and two one-bedrorom guest quarters and a jetty. The island is surrounded by excellent coral reefs. I don't know why they call it Goat Island since there's not a single one living there. Any takers?

Well, looking at a pic in the newspaper of the island it looks nice but too small. Don't like the idea of being stranded in a hurricane there. The coral reef looks spectacular from the air. Tobago is just about 10 minutes by boat. There is a generator for power and an ample fresh water supply from a small reservoir. There's another small island off the North Coast of Trinidad called Centipede Island. Rumor has it there are some pretty large centipedes there. Then there's Nelson Island. A prison island were we send the worst criminals we have like granny purse snatchers.
I once went on a flight in a Cessna and the waters between the island and the mainland was teeming with sharks. Big ones too. I think I picked out some Hammerheads and Bull Sharks. Mean looking brutes I must say.
