Hello, boyz! Well, still haven't gotten wireless since the company I signed up with tells me that my location has no line-of-sight to them.

So, I guess I'll try another company and hope for the best. It's boring living out in the sticks. Dodging mosquitoes and shooing cows away isn't much fun anymore. I fired the guy who was supposed to build my rig. I didn't want to return to any Dell products but my eye caught a DELL XPS system that's real cheap (it'll only costs me TT$36,000.00!

) So as you can tell I'm still stuck in this rut. I'll keep in touch via my office PC. Cya later fellas.

Obviously we are as disappointed as you are..
Shooing cows isn't that bad, maybe you can take this opportunity to improve your technique. Try and get them to shoo in different directions and at different speeds?
Have you thought of writing a book?

I feel your pain. Really I do.
Keep pestering the companies in your area to increase their coverage and see if you can get more interest from your neighbours. That's what I did, and they got so sick of me (I called their number more than my mothers) that they eventually hooked me up.
Good luck!

Quit shooing the cows. That's child's play.
Try something a bit more manly, like tipping them.

What I hate about these companies is that you have to pay up front after signing up, wait 2-3 weeks for some service guy to show up, then have him tell you "Hey, no line-of-sight, so no service, sorry."

And all these companies are located in the capitol so I really don't have the time to go there. And it's pretty expensive, as much as TT$500 to hook up and TT$350 per month for a 3-year contract. Well, on the bright side I signed up with GreenDot for service and hope I get a line-of-sight with them. Without my connection I might as well play with the cows.
AB was last seen practicing how to walk like a bow-legged cowboy.

Yep! 15% is considered normal (unless the service sucked.).
Hang on to your 56k modem. You'll do fine.

...and wear your feckin' mask!!!!!

We don't tip down here. Heck, they get good salaries so why give them more.
