Login?

Just lately, I seem to have to login every time I visit the forums, whereas in the past the site always "remembered" me. Any idea why this should be?

When you enter here after putting in your password bookmark it so every time you enter you won't have to do it all over again.

Have you changed any of your browser settings?

e.g. clear temporary files, clear cookies etc when you shut down the browser?

If it can't find session/login information in your cookies that ties in with one stored on the board, it will force you to login in again.

Bookmarks don't store any login information. It's just a hyperlink to the page

...but it beats having to re-type to enter doesn't it. But you're right. If he had set his browser to automatically delete cookies that may be what happened or probably he deleted them manually.

Bingo! I think that's what it is- I try to keep my cookies and temp files cleaned up.
