Sounds like they're rushing out a half-baked sim on us again. :roll: The interview doesn't give me much confidence. But it looks promising though. 8)

Don't know if you guys have tried "Over Flanders Fields" which is an add on for CFS3?

Phase 2 of this game out recently - phase 1 was good as a free add on and I spent some time playing it last year. Don't be put off by the CFS3 part - it really looks and feel like a different game and the standard for free software is great.

The new version can be found here http://www.overflandersfields.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I downloaded the three files and patches earlier this week - over 2GB so thank God for broadband :D

Only had time to fly a couple of missions so far but it looks to be a good improvement on Phase 1 (which was already pretty good) with dynamic effects, better damage modelling etc. One of my flight flew into me and damaged my right lower wing but I could continue to fly with lots of left aileron to compensate :?

If you have a good connection and a copy of CFS3 lying around I recommend it - you can even fly online so if enough of us are interested we could have a WW1 section!

Is this a 'stand alone' game?

And not an add-on to something else?

What is the suposed release date?

What's the homepage of the develper?

:)

I'd be willing to fly either of these with you chaps. Downloaded this
"Over Flanders Fields" thingy awhile ago ( I must confess to having a very dusty copy of CFS3) and was still happily flying round when all this patch came out last week. Big bugger. But I think it has improved things greatly. The TIR in this thing is relly nice once you fiddle with it. Yes, we should fly this I think, or this other one, you know, when it's out. Now if you'll excuse me, it's Friday. PAYDAY old boy. Got to face a crowd of surly Hoddies. Want to get there before lunch, when the sun is still low. They're sluggish this time of year, but still dangerous. Let me see, revolver, chair...whip, meat. I'm reddy. Wish me luck.
