Controversial films

Post by AltarBoy » Sat Feb 17, 2007 1:20 am

Some friends of mine recently formed a small club collecting rare and controversial films. One of my m8s lent me a film called Cannibal Holocaust just so he can see me throw up breakfast. Describing it as shocking is an understatement. And I'm pretty disturbed at how animals were killed in this film. Let's just say the director left nothing to the imagination.

A synopsis:

A small group of film makers venture out into the Amazon in search of cannibalistic tribes and never returned. A scientist is sent out to look for them and found their film reels and found out what really happened to them.

If you got guts of steel and find somewhere you can get this cult classic, go take a look.

Bambi was horrific, I think that should be on the list - the ending really traumatised me.

Also like to add Watership Down, another traumatic film - I don't know who makes these films but I'd sure like to introduce them to the black rabbit.
