Exploding Mouse?

Was checking out today’s forum postings and heard a 'pop' then a gurgling sound. Discovered my mouse battery had exploded and was spilling its 'guts' in the mouse. Got it cleaned up, R/R batteries, checks out good. Have any of you guys seen this happen?

Didn't you know you're supposed to wrap it with duct tape before you...

I hope you know that battery acid is corrosive. I bought RadioShak rechargeable batteries and so far they haven't nuked me. :lol:
