Hello!

Post by th3wraith » Mon Jan 22, 2007 11:47 pm

i'm Wraith, i live in delaware on the east coast of the united states, i feel a few things about life, first right now its a pain in the rear end because of school and homework, other than that it's great, about flying, i love it, theres nothing like the feeling of being above the ground and being able to do a barrel roll and buzzing the tower while the atc yells "MAVERICK!!!". as for alcohol, i wish i had some, damn the legal drinking age.... as for bailing out, if you bail out, you better not have control of the plane, if you do have control and you bail, your not getting anywhere. as for stalls, well i personally like stalls, they are a place to keep the horses, oh wait wrong kind of stall :p as for aircraft stalls, i hate em, they make me wide open to attack. as for everything else, i got mixed feelings. cya in the skys!!

Delaware?!

I spent some of the best childhood years of my life in Newark and Wilmington.

Beautiful town, nice hills, good woods to have a walk, serene creeks by which to laze and catch snapping turtles and eels ... even though your hopin' for sunnies.

Great schools. Yeah, it's kinna hard to find good schools in America, but dey gots'em in Delaware. When I moved from Wilmington to New Orleans the kids were way behind me. I cruised along in my class work for two years.

Aircraft stalls can be good when you're trying to get behind someone, but if you don't immediately get a kill your energy will be critically low and you'll be fish food on his next pass.

The drink? Oh no Wraith, it's sarsaparilla and Sam's Cola for you mate! You'll thank us later.

In these forums you'll find all the info you need to get up an' runnin'. Don't be afraid to ask stupid questions. We're all very familiar with those ... very familiar.

Welcome to the :FI: forums,

You'll find that AltarBoy is our very own Aerodrome idiot. Pay NO attention to what he says, like the rest of us, and you may even begin to tolerate him given time, therapy and a handful of green pills.

It's the truth I tellya!

Aerodrome Idiot? I guess that's better than being a Swedish Meatball. The only time I've been in the air was during that trampoline stunt back in 1989.

hi Wraith
Baldrick: I'd love to be a flier. Up there where the air is clear.
Blackadder: The chances of the air being clear anywhere near you, Baldrick, are zero!
