Ground attack: Stuka dive bomb
It´s been a bit quiet in our flight school so I thought I could give some contribution in form of some theoritcal lesson.
Today I´d like to show you how to use the Ju-87D-3 with a load out of 1x500kg SC and 2x250kg SC bombs in a dive bomb. As I´ve already mentioned this lesson is a theoritcal one I'll show you some representative pictures that are (hopefully) self-explanatory ...
BTW, don´t despair if it shouldn´t work for you the first time. These pictures were taken after my 12th attempt. So keep on exercising, mates!

"He who warned, uh, the British that they weren't gonna be takin' away our arms, uh, by ringing those bells, and um, makin' sure as he's riding his horse through town to send those warning shots and bells that we were going to be sure and we were going to be free, and we were going to be armed."

Outstanding, Frank!
Very well presented!
The tips about using the floor window and centering the target at the lower "cross" of the sight is very important. As stated, with a bit of practice one can become consistently accurate.
This method (with minor variation) also works well with the SBD's.
May I include your excellent presentation on GS?

My German is a bit rusty though I went to school to learn it, twice (once administration, second graphics even went to see the famous heidelberg printers, das war ganz sehr toll ja! or sumthin' like that.)
Ziel brennt, I don't suppose that means Target/Goal burning?
Great tutorial though. So I guess that makes you an instructor as well. Call this class pre visualisation. And just sent me a pic or post it here that you want me to base your drawing on. I posted two modest samples in the GA thread and see if you're interested in that sort of thing.

Ja. It does mean: "Target´s on fire!"Kitty wrote:Ziel brennt, I don't suppose that means Target/Goal burning?
I´ve to admit I didn´t get that properly. What do you like to say, Kitty?Kitty wrote:Great tutorial though. So I guess that makes you an instructor as well. Call this class pre visualisation. ah sorry, my mind works on warpspeed and my poor fingers cannot keep up with it.
Since I cannot really contribute to the flight school as an instructor or offering advice (been too long without wings), I thought it might be nice to offer my talents of drawing comic styled pictures of those that instruct on the flight schoolmeaning Helo, Skipper, Falcon and now you.
So if you like a spiffy comic version of yourself, sent me a pic or post it here and I'll get the magic working. Shouldn't take me long. A portrait or a face shot is prefered.
