NWN2? Must be code for Medieval 2: Total War!
You know when the entire Squad drops this silly flying business and we all become mad strategy gamers in the Middle Ages.

Every once in a while I recieve a "reality check"- a small epiphany, if you will, of my geek-rating, and I am still somewhat STUNNED at what total geek/goth/fantasy dad's we have in this squad!! Yes, I know, I wore black in highschool too..(sigh) ~S~

The two years spent playing a Middle Earth roleplaying game with 2 Elve....<cough> friends every week doesn't count cause I wasn't a Dad then <only>and it wasn't using a computer

Looked more like an accountants meeting, fekin papers everywhere.
Ok I did have some lead figures.

The thing is, I do not have any problem with being a geek at all. Just look at people like Bill Gates. I think there is a new age of geekdhood. People with technical expertise who still have the ability to hang with the crowd at parties.
My wife always jokes what a closet geek I am, so much that some of my friends have no idea even.

Strangely enough I found, with my limited experience, that Europeans tend to have more pencil, paper and tabletop gamers than anywhere. It's has to be higher per capitia here. Heck there were TWO games workshops within walking distance of each other in Aberdeen. Maybe it's just that I live in the maritimes anyway.
