Dedicated Server

Hello guys i'm going to set up a Dedicated server soo if any one of you have done it before can give me some tips
(Example: Where do i find how to do it cuz i can't find how to do it)
and if you guys want to have the server as you personal server (FIS) you can gladly have it.
So if i will get the serv up then it's just too send some funny maps.

If you wonder why i want do it.
it's becuse i just got my new com and i have allways wanted too have a ded serv where i can fly when i want with my friends :D

If you run a "Dedicated server", ( all the downloads can be found at Ubisoft) , you'll need another PC to fly on.

If youve just got the one PC youre better off opening a DF server in Hyperlobby (or via IP) and just hosting.All you'll need to do is check your router and firewall settings.

Talk to Dr.Strangelove for more insights about the dedicated server.

Well DR.S had one running a while, as did Snoop.
Not too sure whats been happening there at the moment.....???

Verde,

Snoop's server was up for a long time. We got a lot of use out of it. This was when we did fewer co-ops and were very DF heavy.

Dr. Strangelove's server was great to have, but there were many times throughout the week that no one was there. Eventually, I think he shut it down.

If you were to get one up for the :FI: it would be nice to have around.

If you advertised it enough here and possibly ran special maps and events, I'm sure you'd get some action.

The stuff is downloading in a few days it will be up. soo start sending maps that you want to have
yeah one more thing where do i find dedicated server 4.05m patch?
