Saw it a couple of weeks ago, I almost crapped my pants when they had the camera in the ball turret, a flak burst goes off, and the paint chips off!!
How the heck did those planes take off with all those large, heavy brass spheres hanging between the crew's legs!

exactly, Fal. this is especially true for people from Tennessee (where the Memphis Belle got its great name.)
for instance, we Tennessee lads walk around (and take off) all the time with HUGE, HEAVY, brass spheres between our legs. no problems there!
