Would anyone have any idea why I can't connect to Warclouds?

I am just now back up to snuff when it comes to game patches. I updated hyperlobby, and decided to take a whirl around my old favorite online server warclouds and was completely disappointed when, after connecting, I'm immediately disconnected and informed I've been "kicked" from the server.

Keep in mind this is the first time in over 3 months that I've tried to connect to WC. So, it shouldn't be due to some death kick or any such thing. I remember some talk about an online server having problems with colons in the user name. Was that WC?

Which brings me to my last(ish) question. If I were to log off as :FI:Snaphoo and logon as simply Snaphoo, or some other colonless name, would there be a major problem trying to get back into :FI:Snaphoo if I've forgotten my password to hyperlobby long, long ago?

Warclouds does not allow certain chars to be used when connecting to the server. Such as [, :, /, +,] etc....this is because it screws with the server script. So you cant logon as :FI:name, you just have to use a generic name, or use something liket _FI_snaph, or something like that. Hope this works mate

They told me they banned colons because people who wanted to make trouble used them !!!

Apparently thier script cant kick anyone with a colon.

(I wouldnt want a kick in the colon thats for sure)
