Nice video. Of course this is not a restored 262, it is entirely new, and uses engines built by General Electric. Much safer and more relaiable than the old Jumos.

I'd rather have a surplus Mig 17 thank you. Or one of the new Yak 3's with the Allison engine. Two seater of course, with luggage drop tanks. On second thought maybe not. ( sees luggage spiraling down into the plains of Saskachewan.....)

But that was amazing. I can't belive how modern it looks. Then again German scientists desgined alot of very famous aircraft. Like the A-10 Thunderbolt, Kurt Tank was a consultant on that one.
