Finnish Pe-2
Here´s one i´ve been working for some time...
After realazing that my La-7 template is a g*d d*am mess, i went back to work on this one (so, Falcon, if your offer still stands, i could use your template ) ... And i must say, pe-2 is a great plane to work with.
During continuation war, Finns had a total of 7 pe-2´s in service (and one pe-3).. PE-2´s were bought from the Germans, and the pe-3 was captured from the Soviets. When the war ended, only one Pe-2 was left.
And yes, i used the basic void... i was too lazy to make any corrections in it
[Edit]
No i didnt.. i used Imme´s void, i found from the Flying-legends... I dont know, if that´s a corrected void though..

Oh, ja!
Would you pass me a copy with a "G" on the tail rudders and this code FI-14 on the fuselage?
Ty in advance, Juha!

Yep, I dl'd Imme's skin too in an attempt to find a corrected design. Don't get me wrong, his work is great, but few of the few problems on the ac are addressed (if we're talkin' about the same template).
The biggest problem is the patchwork mat and stretching around the cockpit.
I'm still kinna working on my Pe. Still not happy with the latch, rivet and hatch detailing I did, but my boss needs the money so I sent it to the stores.
I'll send the (La-5/7) template along, let me know if you can open it an' stuff.
This camo pattern and the colors look great. You are definitely up to full speed sir!
Ummm ... I think my boss wants to talk to you.
Gah!

True, only one was shot down by enemy fighters. The pilot was saved, but gunner and observer were killed.Do I remember correctly, that only one of Pe's was shot down, and others were destroyed in series of accidents? Remember reading something like that...
Two were destroyed on the bombing of Lappeenranta airfield.
Four were destroyed in accidents.
I noticed this interesting thing about Imme´s void, that for some reason, right side of the fuselage is bigger than the left side... I had some problems with it, when painting the camouflage patternYep, I dl'd Imme's skin too in an attempt to find a corrected design.
