Impressions of Red Orchestra - Ostfront 41-45
Folks!
Recently some chaps of the FIP purchased the first person shooter Red Orchestra Ostfront 41-45 and they´re going mad about it. It´s about the infantry and tank war at the eastern European front where you can play on either sides in different military classes. I´d like to give you some impressions of this obviously graphical outdated game with very high gameplay potential.
Enjoy yourselves, folks!

Forgeddaboudit!

On the other hand ...
I've been reading about this for over a year and I have been interested.
Is it a mod or a stand-alone game?

"He who warned, uh, the British that they weren't gonna be takin' away our arms, uh, by ringing those bells, and um, makin' sure as he's riding his horse through town to send those warning shots and bells that we were going to be sure and we were going to be free, and we were going to be armed."

Originally it was a free mod for Unreal Tournament 2004 but someone thought it´d be nice idea to make some money out of it and so you can buy the latest version of a stand-alone game.
Are you playing with the idea to get it, Patrone?

Right now I am playing with my wiff's teeny-weeny laptop 'puter and I am lucky if I can get CoD to play on it without things crashing.... Are you playing with the idea to get it, Patrone?
When I get the REAL machine back, I just might!

Umm, there are some dead horse butts. Nothing like the awe inspiring realism of Oblivion though.

Why did(Bethesda) they do that?
Anyway, I enjoy it. The tanks are kind of the stars of the show. I think they are very well done.

Oh yeah, you want to check out the Red Orchestra website for more info on the tanks and whatnot. It'll answer why you get "One Shoted" by tanks. Apparently there are critical hit locations where the ammo is. Check the downloads and artwork section.
