You might wanna check out this link:

http://www.liutilities.com/products/win ... sslibrary/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

They have plenty of process descriptions on their pages...

Thanks Sapper,

I am also curious if I have a virus/worm associated with the SVCHOST.EXE file. I seem to have more than one copy of that file on my PC. How would one know and eliminate it if it is there.

Hmmm.. okee, You might wanna try "Ewido anti-malware" program:

http://www.ewido.net/en/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The free trial is fully functional.

A while ago, i had a problem with Virkel.A- messenger virus. My F-Secure antivirus was unable to find it, so started my windows in safe mode, and ran ewido... and it did the job. (But it wasn´t all that simple... I had to create a HJT-log, and consult some guys who actually know how to get rid of those nasty buggers...)

Here you can find that "HiJackThis"...

http://castlecops.com/downloads-file-328.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Run it, create a log, and then post that log to some HJT-dedicated forum.. There are guys there, who will tell you what to do next.. I dont know what do they see on those logs, but i´ve had a couple of viruses removed, with their help.. I used Castlecop´s forum...

http://castlecops.com/forums.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hope this helps...
