Think Angel is level 14 still, I don't think I picked very good primary abilities but they sure are fun. I guess I've spent alot of time messin with the minor abilities like magic stuff. Guess I need to get my butt in gear - but I reckon it would take me months to make 40 levels lol

Just Level 10 or 11. I enjoy a session or two a week.

The secret to faster levels is to pick running and jumping and skipping and sneaking as primary attributes. So, when you are trekking from town to town you ...

constantly run and jump and sneak and the levels build up.

Yeah, it doesn't help with your magic stuff, but I s'pose you can run and jump and sneak and fireball the bushes.

And yeah ... that first week or so I DID play a lot.

Menace doth query:
... Has anybody downloaded the talking sword mod yet?.
Yeah, I dl'd the mod last night and so far it's very interesting. The armorer keeps moving, but it certainly passes the time while the Liquid Nail dries.

Thanks for the heads up!

Oh, and don't be too eager to get to level 40. The critters get tougher and tougher!

Those are high-power arrows from a fully charged Daedric bow stickin' out of that uber-ogre.

Are the battle scenes as good in animated mode as they look in still?

Only anime I've seen is at the beginning when the emporer starts to tell the story...

past thats its all game graphics.

The above was a fight going on which I couldn't participate, I was frozen to the bloody spot in one of those 'watch whats going on, you can't do anything!' times - which are very rare but I'd like to have summoned the dragon and or put arrows in the big beastie!

I think between 50-100 hours the shine comes off the game a bit, then you seem to potter around for a bit then something really cool happens.
I've done all the Oblivion bits, that got really funky near the end! and it ended and I figured that was it, now there is something going on with Necromancers I think or perhaps its something to do with the mage guild..

certainly plenty of things to do, different paths and such

Money well spent, get bored then there are always Mods (which I've not found yet *coughs*)

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<SPOILER>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

There are dozens of sites with hundreds of mods, but THIS is one of the best spots.

There's only one dragon in the game (I think) but there are more coming in mods. (Aren't you getting tired of me saying that?) The animated scenes are good. Among the best I've seen. Fighting has a good feel to it.

Sorry, I was a wee bit busy here. The camera is kinna shakey.

Dex, you can just see the worm materializing in the upper part of the pic.

NC, yeah, I've been there too. Cool, huh?

That scene blew my fricin mind. I can't get over the highly detailed statuary. All that game needs is an in game MP3 player. Nightwish seems to go very well.

Try this with leveling. Only level when you feel that the monster's are not challenging enough. Your fighting skills go up and you really feel like you are doing something. As far as I can tell, the only benefit with the current leveling system is, you have more hit points to resist falling damage. Everything else is scaled to kick your butt at your level.

Make sure your increase your secondary skill alot when you do level. That makes your bonuses in their respective attributes increase.
