Hamaci is pretty simple. First you install it, then you join the Hamaci network and create a channel (create/join button). Good Idea to password it. Then it assigns an IP for everybody to connect to. That's it. And it works just like a LAN.
For instance :FightingIrish:
Password:FightingIrish
That's all there is to creating it.
To join is just as simple. Join/channel, type it in(:fightingIrish) and use the password. Works as an IM too I think.
Once it's up, everybody has a network address. I use it to bypass the firewall(s) when I'm playing with Spookyruben.
If you have trouble hooking up for a lan game using it,try tcp/ip protocol and use the IP address that Hamachi gives you.
Used it to get multiplayer going for Nexus, the Jupiter Incident recently. They had a gamespy like matching service that they brought down, making it almost impossible for people to play online. Pretty strange for a game less than a year old, and a good one at that.
Gah third time editing!
