Battlestar Galactica: The New Series: Who's Watching?

I cannot believe that there is a show this well written on TV right now. I cannot believe that it is also Sci-Fi.

Friday night between 7 and ten is MY TV time.

No CSI: Miamis or American Idols or What's in the Flippin' Attic ...

MY time!

Startgate to Battlestar is a good run if you're stuck home on a Friday.

BGal is great but a few of the episodes were a wee bit soap opera-ie this year,

but that's ...

okay.

Enjoying the series on the SPACE Network (Bell ExpressVu). Can't believe it's all Canadian baby! 8) Great show. Dark and gritty. Interesting themes. I like it. Probably the ONLY show I make a point of watching each week.

...and put it on at a different time and day each week , and cut the series
right before the crucial final episode.

JUST LIKE THEY DID WITH BABYLON 5 aaarrrghhhhh

Sorry not in the UK yet.

But I am old enough to remember the original :)

All that polyester, the tight trousers, bodices etc - and that was just Lorne Green!

Still it was better than Buck Rogers

i watch it... though it took some time for me to warm up to it. it IS very much a soap opera set in outer space....but the action can get good and the high-tech gismos are marvelous.

The 2nd series is airing in the UK at the moment (Sky One 9pm tuesdays) and I sedate the kids to minimise the chance of disturbance.

I think its great but the funny thing is that when the first series was shown it got a lot of hype and build up. With the second series it was barely announced before it ran and I dont think I've seen any advertising. Its almost if Sky didn't want people to watch it !!!.Wierd.

I enjoy it mainly for nostalgic reasons and NOT for the blonde who frequently shows up with no kit on despite Mrs S's observations to the contrary (Why are women so untrusting ?)
Candy is dandy but liquor is quicker...

Ah Sky.

Sorry but I don't add anything to Mr Murdoch's millions

Maybe we will get it on terrestrial TV eventually - that blonde sounds worth seeing

Did somebody just drop the "L" bomb? I'm always surprised when Lexx is mentioned. Mmmmm Eva Havermann.........Mini skirt, sex slave character. What could possibly go wrong? She gets killed then that Xenia Seberg takes over. Still trading a scatily clad 11 for a 9.5 isn't bad.

Soap Opera? Thats SPACE OPERA baby!
