Graphics issues
Cant find much info on Nvidia 5900 ultra settings for PF . Driver plus game setup combination .
There maybe more info here than necessary and not the info needed but maybe someone will see something glaringly obvious
symptoms are failed game launch sometimes .
Error message. il2fb.exe Application error
(The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000142) click okay to terminate the app .)
Sometimes will have this message 3 times before proper launch . Generally very smooth game play avg 50 fps off line and often very choppy warping AC on line down to 20 fps for moments. Latency is good on most servers, often one of the best on the server .

anti virus and firewall running , PF and HL have full access from firewall .
Apears to be few or no unknown or unnecessary processes running .
Many unnecessary services stoped also, a few unsure left to manual
I have disabled the anti virus and seen no change.
Using sun java . version 1.5.0 , was wondering about any Sun Java settings in Java control panel .
What is a good size to set RWIN for Multiplyr/HL/PF . I was wondering with 5MB connection maybe I am recieveing more data than I can process fast enough or is that crazy ? Anyway thanks , sorry for huge post I just cant seem to find any setup for Nvidia driver settings and PF video options CONF.ini

Is onboard sound disabled in BIOS ?
My AsRock board (onboard AC'97 audio) with SB live PCI had conflicts and not just in FB. same with a friends computer.
Also do you have any "hs_err_pld..log" files in your FB/PF root folder?
I dont know exactly what they're saying ( or rather how to fix problem, got a post at Ubi on them)
But mine do relate to a graphics issue and Java error.
at present I can only run merged in Direct X video
please PM me if you find out first ( Don_X at Ubi)
