The upgraded model looked & sounds impressive, but is only touted at 400fps.

Also liked the AK47 and SAW! Especially the SAW!

Actually 400 fps is about the max end that one could hope for. Any more and the safety factor goes out the door. Had a guy get the whole back of this tooth broke off because he was stubborn enough not to wear a face mask. He got nailed by a gun chronoed between 300 and 350!

I use to play alot of paintball in the woods, my friend was a marshall there so it was always free (it was quite expensive I thought for what it was). There was a league setup, the marshalls had they're own team and pretty much won every game - in the winter (I know!) it was quasar, the indoor laser show lol we got totally owned one night by a bunch of 12 year olds who called themselves 'The Munchkins' - total humilation, would have been cool to see how long they would last in paintball the little...

This one comes out in January sometime. Cost will be somewhere between $100-150 USD. Fires 250 to 275fps and comes with two 600rd hi-cap mags. Pre reveiws have been very good so far.

Me I just joined the Army and my gun fired a hell of a lot faster it was a while ago but as I recall my FN 7.62mm went @ about 780m/sec and had an impact force of about 2 ton, the AUG 5.56mm fired @ about 880m/sec but you had to hit the guy 2 or 3 times to knock the guy down, but you had to be blind not to hit with the AUG

and what is an airsoft gun /rifle?? some paintball ?
or are this the little metal balls that you fire with an air-presure gun ??
when i was youg a friensd of me had ona and had also little arrows with a differend collous on the tail of the arrow used to shoot at targets shown on the airsoft site.

LOL, Dutch. Actually that's my son, but I will take it as a compliment. (I'm back row right). Those are Airsoft guns, AEGs (Air Electric Gun) to be exact, except the tall lad in the back center who actually has a gas gun that is connected to a CO2 source tank. At my age the sport is pretty exhausting, but I give the young bucks a run for their money.
