If worst comes to worst, at least you'll have a skinnin' machine!

Joe called this morning.
It's official enough, the darlin' is lost.
MagnumPC is building the FullMetalFerret 2!
FMF2 will have new scenarios, a "Director's Cut" movie and a wee ceramic Ferret beating the heck out of a FedEx employee.
Two weeks!

It's here!!!!!!!!!!
Some history ...
The day after my last FMF post I received a call from the clueless folk at FedEx that my darlin' was sittin' in a (truck) trailer in the parking lot in St. Rose, (8 miles from Laplace) and that they would certainly get it to me tomorrow, (Wednesday).
Wednesday: nuttin'; I called them and they assured me that folks would be workin' on Thanksgiving to unload the trucks and WILL definitely get it to me on Friday, or Saturday at the VERY LATEST!.
Friday: nuttin'
Saturday: nuttin', Saturday night I finally lost it and yelled at a FedEx Customer Advocate Lass for an hour. I threatened nuk'ler armagedon if some flippin' middle-manager puke didn't hand deliver it on Monday, (FedEx Ground doesn't deliver on Mondays).
Monday: voila! c'est ici! I called Joe at MagnumPC and told him it made it. The shipping box is a mess, but the 'puter is in perfect shape.
Joe assured me that a full refund for shipping was on it's way. Sheezz! What a bloke has to do to get free shipping these days!
Shameless plug: I urge all you mates to shop at least a wee bit at MagnumPC. The guys there are top notch!
I plugged 'er in, turned 'er on and ... no smoke! I s'pose the 'puter dogs are happy. Anyway, what do I see? IL2, TeamSpeak and HyperLobby icons! Installed an' ready to go!
See y'all later, there are a few dozen fings I need to do before I have a FULL metal ferret.
Thanks for seeing this oddessy through with me ... film at eleven!

That is Great News, Falc!
Just another prime example.
You should have used the "Nuke" card earlier!
I'm sure Johnny Cochran is proud of ye, son!
Just one request:
If this new, hifalutin' PC thingamajig of yours is so powerful, why not use it to help O.J. find the real killers, huh?

So he has a distribution license for the game? Whose CD are you popping into the CD drive, your original copy, or one of "his"... or does it come complete with a no_cd fix
HL and TS whilst free downloads for personal use I believe both have clauses in respect of commercial distribution.

Glad you got it at last Falc.
Now you'll be blowing us all out the sky.
(Hmmm, ........... unfortunate choice of words!)
Need to go and lie down now, I feel all nauseous.

does a Falcon really fly?
We should start up a pool, the first one to shot Falcon down gets all the money, and maybe one for the first one Falcon shoots down.

I got the TrackIR4 Pro!
The Full Metal Ferret is complete!!!
I'm having a wee instability problem though,
but after I tuned down the over-clocking on the nVidia cards
the problem should be gone.
Now, as for shooting me down ...
remember,
it's still ME behind the stick
so go easy on me;
especially this week
and maybe the next
or more.
The best rig in the world ain't gonna help me much.
And I have lots of tweekin' yet to do.
