I will personally sacrifice an Atari 2600 to apease the computer Gods!
220V is good for letting the smoke out of them. As we all know, the smoke is where the silicon souls rest until they can go to silicon heaven.
Interesting thing smoke. I think it powers computers. Once you let it out of them, they don't work anymore.

Right Tact enough is enough, give Dear old Falcy his 'puter back.
Seriously though Falc, Fedex will replace it, right?
It's probably on some god forsaken island with Tom W,W,W,Hanks.
Sry to hear that Falc, after the time you've had recently you deserve a little good luck not this sort of crap.
Sue the bastages.

blind conformity and stupidity are unforgivable.

Thanks mates,
Today is/should be the last day of the search. With Thanksgiving holidays the trace-search system is apparently swamped. Joe at MagnumPC says that they will build another FMFerret and send it along ASAP, but it may take a week to determine it's really lost first.
Add a week or so to order new parts, a few days to build and a few more days to test it and I'll probably get it before Christmas.
<sigh>
Oh yeah! FedEx WILL PAY but it will take longer than a month or so for MagnumPC to be paid. It's too bad that Joe and Bill will suffer a wee bit until then.
Funny thing, I'll ask them to ship it FedEx again ... just Express air next time.
Falc ...

"Oh, it's Fun to Be Hooome Fooor the Hooolidays..."
Yeah, like Tact said!
It could be worse...
Glad to see that Magnum is working with you on this one, Falc.
And be glad it wasn't Airborne Express...you'd receive it in pieces.
FedEx will make it good, you bet!

I fixed it!
Turns out that I'm pretty good/lucky at trouble-shootin' and stuff.
So technically I could get back on-line and fly and skin and stuff
but I'm kinna demoralized.
All info has been put into CD's for transfer to the new system,
so if I change stuff
I'll need to update.
No problem?
Well, like I said, I'm kinna bummed.
I'll see Monday what the status is with the lost 'puter and a more accurate time frame for building the new-new 'puter.
If it's weeks, I'll just set up the old one and get back to business.
