Point well taken Falcon. I guess my only question would be how much power and performance is really necesary. Im running a AMD64 3500, 1 gig Crucial memory, Abit AV8 MB,and a Nnidia 6800GT 256mb. With a cable internet connection ive never come across anything I couldent do. Not yet anyway. Anyway, Im just babbling cause im jealous..If I had the extra scratch Im sure I would have a system like yours too. Good luck with it man..

I got the 24" wide screen monitor today!
Of course it's street legal, but you need a special permit for the wide load.

Indeed. Falcon that monitor will really suck. I'll trade you my 19-inch that is much better for TIR.
Bloody monitor - my family's TV is only 27 inches. He's out of control! And the rest of us are green with envy. But that's alright, we are an Irish Squad after all.

You're getting the same power supply I have. It's the quietest thing on my rig, and has creepy green lighting!
Mind you I've got an Asus Starice Cpu heatsink, three case fans, a zalman heatsink kit with optional fan (quiet). So my rig sounds like a cross between a shop vac and a city bus.
The Starice heatsink is about the same size as a good sized coconut BTW. I had to file down my side fan to fit it in. I really hope it's not a coconut though.

Yes!
and that's my new keyboard too.
The Eclipse (coming today) lights up behind the keys during the day and the key faces light up in the night. All settings adjustible.
Jeez! Dell is really getting into gaming.
But having a Compac and then a Gateway and then a Hewlett Packard I have developed a real aversion to name brand off the shelf machines.
Justified or not, I just ... can't ... do it!
Got the G5 mouse yesterday, Holy ferretfish that thing's sweet!

Get your TIR settings right...
...before! you start hogging the machine!
With all that real estate if you move too fast you'll just end up disoriented and clogging your keyboard and/or coating the monitor!
