We have been discussing BF2 in the Platoon section for a bit Napier. Do you have access to that area mate?
Yes, it seems certain folks have, or will have shortly, BF2. From what I have been reading the game plus upcoming add-ons look like it may be a great continuation to this series. Needs a patch at the moment, but what game doesn't nowadays.
Been looking at it personally, but waiting for the patch and to see how many folks (especially in my time zone area) pick it up. It's rather demanding on the PC, though my system will handle it I'm not sure about other mates. You say you may rejoin your OLD squad.

BF2?
I would like to give the Demo a try.... But if I end up with the game, I'm up for it!
You've got red on you.

Re: BF2?
I had merely a passing interest in the game for a long time. The screenshots looked nice but I never considered getting it. The all of a sudden Dutch and the others were playing the demo and speaking so highly of it that I tried it out myself... man I was hooked! Bought the game as soon as it came out here in Ireland and have been virtually blown away by it!:FI:Snaphoo wrote:I would like to give the Demo a try.... But if I end up with the game, I'm up for it!
The demo is 500+Mb but it does give you a good taste of both online and offline play.
It's like the best bits of CoD morphed with the best bits of the BF series, with jaw-dropping graphics that run curiously well with a bit of tweaking. Two thumbs way up!
