Very nice Frank.
I noticed on the A-20 that the stripes go around the fuselage as well, is it possible to have just the tail with stripes and the fuselage its normal colour?
Vin
Hiya Vin!
Do you mean like the stripes on the I-16? For both the US and VVS verions?

Frank, with the A-20 the stripes continue down through the elevator and then wrap around the Fuselage at the tail, with the other Aircraft they stop at the elevators (apart from the P-38, which works). I think it looks better if the stripes stop at the elevator.

Copy that, mate! But I don't need to change this on the P-51 and P-47, or do I?

Frank, having looked at the P51 and 48, I think it is the extra stripe forward of the tail that looks odd on the A-20.

Oops, sorry I missed all of the discussion on this Frank, but I basically agree with what you guys have already concluded.
Of the 3 different A-20 tails you presented, I also agree that #3 is the best. I'm being another nit-picker here, but I also have to agree with Vin that it would look even better if you could limit the stripes to only the vertical stabilizer and rudder. (i.e. eliminate ALL of the stripes currently below the horizontal stabilizer & elevators.
This is a VERY minor thing though, and others may feel differently. Besides, having the green stripes in this location, wrapping around the bottom of the plane, means they are visible from below, and that will certainly make it a little easier to identify an FI plane when viewed from there.
As the others said, all of these look simply fantastic! The striped tails add a classy & historically relevant touch. More than ever I wish others had the ability to see custom skins on every server! I'm sure we'd get plenty of compliments on these. Well done sir!!

The stripes suit the I-16 well. I especially like the winter camo;)

Should I reopen the 'Green Stripe Skin Packages' again and change it like Larry has just described, folks? Let me know what you think ...
BTW, the reworked I-16 skin package has just been uploaded by me ...

I say yes, but only if you want to and it's not too much work.

It'll be too much work ... but I hope this will be last big amendment to the skins.

PS: shall I change the stripes on the P-47 and P-51 also this way?

Good job, Frank. That's a good looking tail (I'm sure I've said that under different circumstances
). I would say yes to the P-47 and 51.
