P.11 X-Mas Shoot Up 2016

Folks,

as every year I’d like to invite you and all other pilots to our annual P.11 Christmas Shoot Up on ... Wait a minute! That was the very same beginning of my invitation to you as last year. :shock: :roll:

But it's true. This year I'd like to host our P.11 X-Mas session on December 18th but this time it already starts at 18.00 GMT. So, if don't have anything better to do and still call a copy of IL-2 1946 version 4.12.2 (disable any mods) your own then join in to the flying & dying madness ...

Hello Martin and Maciej,

long time no see, mates! That's the attitude we need. The more the merrier ... :lol: ;)

Don't forget to use the a.exe for the installation as an administrator of the game. Nothing else worked on my Win7 PC ... :cry:

I do have a copy of IL2 1946 but unfortunately, that's 2AM here in Taiwan #-o

Someone should twitch stream the X-Mas shoot up :D what do you think? Then anyone can watch live or the automatic recording made by twitch at any other time.

The idea of streaming the session is a great one. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to do this ... :roll: :?

Genosse, I can help you get started. It is pretty easy :D

First download OBS (Open Broadcast Software), scroll down and download the classic version not the newer studio version:

Then follow these instructions to set it up for twitch streaming:

If you run into any problems let me know. I could meet you online and help you out. I'm usually hanging out on Hunternet's discord server ( https://discord.gg/BhwCjzA ) so that is an easy way to get a hold of me and we have several players that stream themselves and should also be able to help you out.

Twitch will also make the broadcast available for offline viewing for a while so even if you miss the live show you can watch it later. You can also easily create highlights like this one that I made today: https://www.twitch.tv/cpudreams/v/105172192

For long term storage, you can have twitch upload your videos to your youtube account :). OBS can also record a copy locally as it is streaming to twitch.
