Folks,
I've just stumbled across this "Heroes & Generals" game on Steam. I was wondering what do you guys think about it. Could this be the game we all could play again together???
Let me know what you think, folks!

Re: Heroes & Generals
I just read through their FAQ and checked out their forums. It looks like it could be a fun game. I'm installing it right now to take a look. It's not a full real kind of shooter, but hey neither was COD when we played it. I would love to join in once in a while if we do play it, although my play time is pretty limited outside of work.

I downloaded it and had a few minutes with it, not for me this one, I have left this run and gun stuff behind, much prefer the Arma approach.

Re: Heroes & Generals
Thank you for your input, chaps!
I've downloaded and tested it for myself. My conclusion: although I'd like to play a WWII FPS, I can't stand the idea of paying any (further) real money in order to upgrade my gear, skills and whatnot in the game. I know it's a free-to-play game and somehow the developers need to get paid (and certainly they want to make some profit as well) but I don't like to support this business model at all.
Therefore I'd like to decline to play this game ...
Is there anybody else who likes to share his thoughts with us? Are there any othe FPS shooters out you could recommend?

Re: Heroes & Generals
Frank, There is one on steam called Verdun, though thats based during WW1 and obviously trenchbound. Don't know of any others, apart from the Red Orchestra ones, oh and there is always Iron Front. Point blank refuse to have anything to do with the BF franchise.
