I dropped in to say hello. I recently found that BoS will be coming out so I jumped on their forum and pre-ordered, then saw a posting by the FI!

I miss flying with the FI!

Are snoopy and tactical still around these days? Those campaigns we did were great.

Hope you mates are well, i'd love to fly with the FI again come BoS, if you would all still have me.

I am in progress of trying to get IL2 1946 installed and up to date, if I can figure it out again

Wow, a blast from the past, welcome back

Snoopy and Tacts not active these days, although Tacts haunts the forums occasionally

Get yourself patched up to 4.11.1 (there is a 4.12 patch but we are not using that yet) and also something called HSFX 6 which is a mod pack. We fly this on Sunday evenings.

How is life nowadays Still in th Big Apple Thats the last i know ??
I still have contact with snoop he and his wife Amanda is going to visit me this october(together with Genosse and his son, and Macca), snoop was verry bussy lately, but he is also eager to play with us again, he told me. I am working on the space in da house right now to store all these people hahaha but I love to do so !!

So its a matter of time i guess. I was away myself for a while but crawling back day by day !,

Actually, its been awhile hasnt it?

Im no longer in NY, I have gotten married, had a little boy(just turned 1!!!) and moved down to the mountains in GA, really beautiful!

I'm still trying to get my IL2 install sorted out, think I am close. Is the HFSX required? Thats a HUGE download and will take me some time!

I'd love to shoot snoopy an email if you still have his address, he came to my restaurant one day in NY

I also need to get a new trackIR, how is version5? I still have quite an old one from 2004. Think its time to upgrade!

Great to hear from you Napier! Married with a son now, eh? Great stuff. Dutchman great to hear about Snoop and Amanda. I haven't heard from him in a long time. True I haven't flown for ages. Currently I just have a laptop (Alienware) that I game on. Not really suitable for flying, but I have all my CH gear and TIR in storage. Let's see if the ROF gang can make a decent WW2 flight sim. Helped my son build a gaming rig a few months ago; first time. Probably the route I would take if and when. But the real question is whether I have the appetite to fly with a chef again.

Hi guys!!!

First of all congratulations Napier on getting married and your first child

!!!! Amanda always said you would be a great catch

I've been away all of September visiting my family in Spain, but just got to Dutchman's recently and he told me of your posts

I really miss flying with the FI these last four years and I'm also hopping to get back into online gaming. I've been working mostly offline but now that my game is getting closer to launch I will be online more often and hope to get back into flying with the squad

I haven't flown online yet but I did hang out on team speak with some of the guys (Heloego, Blue2, and Murph) as they where flying one of their campaigns and that alone brought back great memories

. I also have my favorite control stick in storage wingman
